Q: Is meditation religious?

A: Meditation is not a religion. Although some religions practice meditation, it is a beneficial exercise to be enjoyed by everyone, with or without a religion. You don’t have to be a yogi to practice yoga. It’s the same with meditation.

Q: Do I have to sit cross legs?

A: No, you don’t. We focus on breathing during meditation exercise. You can sit in any positions which allow you to breath comfortably. We’ll talk about different positions during our first lesson.

Q: What do I have to wear?

A: Just wear anything you feel comfortable with, we will usually be sitting on a chair.

Q: Do I have to bring anything?

A: Chairs, mats and cushions will be provided. You may bring your own mats and cushions if you prefer. You may like to bring a small blanket when the weather get cooler. Please bring a bottle of water to keep yourself hydrated.

It is advised to have two hours elapse time between a proper meal and meditation practice.
